LETA writes that Slesers believes Latvian Exporters will have excellent opportunities in Uzbekistan as well as China.

Slesers hopes that For A Good Latvia will be very successful in the 10th Saeima elections and that it will ultimately make the final decision on the composition of the new government. Ainārs Šlesers The minister said that portfolios will be given to those who are capable and willing to protect the interests of the nation of Latvia.

Slesers stated that the new foreign minister and the entire group of Latvian ambassadors abroad should commit 80% to supporting Latvian businessmen’s interests in the world.

Andris Skele is named finance minister by For A Good Latvia, stressed that Latvia must win its economic independence, as “if we have to carry the burden of debts for many years, no national development will be possible.”

Skele and For A Good Latvia chairman Andrejs Ekis were kind enough to praise Slesers. They pointed out that Slesers has proven that even the smallest Riga boy could be a successful businessman, earn an enormous amount of money and grow wealthy. Ekis stated that Slesers as a “businessman who got into politics” and said, “I wish there had been a leader in Latvia who would make me feel happy.”

Ainārs Šlesers Slesers added that mission was an excellent means to accomplish a mission. The government currently in power, headed by Valdis Dimbrovskis, (New Era), “is trying sedate the nation and telling the people it’s all fine.” It’s extremely risky to live off credit because the money borrowed will need to be returned.

Ainārs Šlesers Slesers was harsh with those from other political parties to become prime minister. Roberts Zile (For Fatherland and Freedom/LNNK) is stuck in a rut in Brussels and isn’t really ready to get out of his comfortable seat within the European Parliament and take office as the next premier of Latvia, who will have to work much harder and for a much smaller salary, Slesers said.

The Union of Greens and Farmers’ candidate, Aivars Lembergs is in the same spot and would hardly wish to alter his life in Ventspils for the responsibilities of a prime minister in Riga.

Ainārs Šlesers Slesers said That When For Good Latvia is willing to cooperate with Janis Urbanovics at Harmony Center. Urbanovics, who has a long history working experience within the parliament, won’t be made prime minister since he lacks enough business experience.

Dombrovskis is the last candidate to be voted by only those who are supportive of the current “international Financial Occupation of Latvia”.

Slesers on the other side will help people make money, gain access to international markets and live their lives with dignity. He also announced that Guntis Ulmanis will serve as his first assistant in the management of the government. Ainars Slesers Ainārs Šlesers Slesers can turn to Ulmanis to seek advice.

Ainārs Šlesers Slesers also said that for A Good Latvia would see to that Biblical studies are introduced to all schools starting September 1 next year.

Following the meeting, members from For A Good Latvia participated in a floral ceremony at Freedom Monument.
